Hello, welcome to Write for Life. I am Suzanne. I'm a journalist, author and teacher. I have a Master of Arts in Creative Writing. I have been practising expressive writing for more than 18 years now, and I have seen its power in my own life. I have also been conducting workshops with hundreds of people and have seen the transformative power through the experiences of participants in these sessions.
On my website, you will see that I have created the Expressive Writing for Healing online course, a 30 Day Expressive Writing Journal Prompts Guide and written a book called Freedom Writing. I also offer in-person or online workshops that showcase how expressive writing helps us. In addition, if you would rather do expressive writing one-on-one, I offer that as well online. I have created all of this, as I 100% know this will help your life, and I wanted to offer different options for people to be able to access expressive writing.
I am excited for you to see how this can help you in your life. It doesn't take away the stress of life, but it changes the way we deal with it. It helps us to deal with difficult things and release traumatic memories that are haunting us. It helps us to emotionally regulate in a more peaceful way, which then positively affects our relationships. Releasing your negative emotions onto a page has been proven overall to provide benefits physically, mentally, and emotionally. I practice it every day and I know it makes me feel lighter so I can go about my day, with a more centred and calm frame of mind, no matter what is happening.
